Dec. 6th, 2010 04:49 pmI was poking around at recent mentions of me on LJ and discovered a few recs, which is always nice, and also that You Ruined Everything has been storyfindered like, five times. This amuses me.
I suspect the process goes something like:
Reader: Huh, that was interesting, not particularly plausible, but interesting. Also I'm more an OT3 or slash person and I need to bleach my brain so I don't think kidfic when I look at my favorite pairing.
2 months later:
Reader: What was that fic where Peter was Neal's father? Why didn't I delicious it? Why is google not working? Oh dear god, there are some horrible stories on that premise! Did I only *dream* there was a good one?
My favorite was when somebody asked caffrey_burke because like, that's the fandom! Clearly it wasn't a pairing story but where else do you ask!
