Several hours later...

I'm changing the way I use this journal. I'm no longer going to publically post unfinished pieces of fic here, only finished things. My logic goes something like this: I know I am a comment slut, and I know that one of the more significant reasons I've posted snippets here in the past was because I wanted to get feedback.

When I get feedback for unfinished things, I then tend not to finish them. So I'm cracking down on myself. The things don't get posted until they're finished, so if I really want feedback, I have to finish them.

I've just spent most of the day privatizing about 99.7% of my old journal entries. The ones remaining public are things I consider finished. I have also passed off maintainership of daily_porn to j_crew_guy, and of epg to blueraccoon.

I'm aware that a few people (cloudtrader? kernezelda? a couple of others?) were having conversations in the comments sections of some of my recent posts. If you would like copies of those conversations, email me. If anyone wants copies of some post I just privatized that is not unfinished fiction or SV-related, email me.
