pop quiz

What is your favorite episode or movie of Trek? Any series. Tell me why.

I am exceptionally fond of DS9 "The Wire" personally. Because you know, I ship Bashir/Garak a lot and Garak snarking about the value of truth and lies is awesome. I also quite like TNG "Tapestry," for the moment where Picard rolls over to discover Q in bed with him.

I like a lot of DS9 and TNG eps and find it hard to pick a favourite, but I really like the TNG ep "Masks", which doesn't seem all that popular. It's the one where Data is possessed by a cultural archive in a comet, and Picard has to role-play as his consort to save the Enterprise. It's kind of slashy and it's delberately strange and it has Brent Spiner playing several different personae in the same episode.
