I would probably expound more upon my deep thoughts on Tony, Steve and Lady Gaga the goddamn lunar base Pepperbot um, yaoi, but today was a fairly epically awful, I am dying of plague and have had no sleep so I'm not actually going to post content, just the heads-up.

In other news: Chris Evans's career is a long history of TOTAL DORKERY. Watching The Losers right now. GO PETUNIAS.

Heh, I found tsukinofaerii by clicking on valtyr's "holy shit what's happened to tony" tag, because I wondered how the archive had wrangled it. Answer: it is not wrangled to any other master tag, it is only used by these two authors who I suspect are some sort of braintwins or fanpair or something.

You've probably already gotten the run-down at this point, but:

616 = main/core canon universe.
Marvel Adventures: Avengers (MA:A) = happy, fluffy all-ages-appropriate universe.
Ultimates = gritty reboot where the characters have been "re-imagined" (i.e. some of the characters have completely different personalities and back stories).
3490 = canonical alternate universe where Tony Stark is a woman and woman!Tony's marriage to Steve saves the world.
EMH (Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes) = the cartoon currently airing on... I forget what channel... which is sort of like a fusion of 616 and MA-verse, except that Jan is even more adorable than in Marvel Adventures, and Jarvis is an AI instead of a person.

(Those being the movieverse and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, or, as it's known in this part of town, Unholy Ridiculous, short for "unholy ridiculous fusion of fucking everything," yes. We're pretty sure movieverse Iron Man played a strong role in things like AI Jarvis. [The other half of my "we" is by default niqaeli, btw.] Which is kind of hilarious given the movieverse tends to be leaning hard on Ultimates for some things and Unholy Ridiculous is adorably fluffy. Also I discovered from the wikia that Unholy Ridiculous is within the same designation as another recent animated series, Wolverine and the X-Men, so I've gone looking for that on the theory that Unholy Ridiculous makes me so happy, why shouldn't I?)

In addition to tsukinofaerii, valtyr, muccamukk, and dorcas_gustine, you should also check out marinarusalka, posyvanilla, crimsonquills (who's left the fandom but wrote some very good fic before she did), and smilingskull/atomicskull's fics (she's left LJ, but you can still find the fics she posted to cap_ironman by searching through the comm's memories).
