10:09pm: txt msg from niqaeli: "Terriawesome vid idea: Sherlock Holmes '09 to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. I thought I should share the wtf."


10:13pm: my initial reply: "Which couple? Holmes and watson or holmes and irene? I don't think watson and mary quite qualify but perhaps could invent mary and irene?"

10:14pm: my addendum: "Ps I have this problem of I like the official vid too much."

Having not received any replies, despite a couple of further txts documenting ejaculations in the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, I was forced at approximately 10:30pm to call niqaeli and report that the vid was now quite clear in my head. "I hate you," I said; she laughed and replied, "You're welcome."

I detailed that it was clearly Holmes and Irene, in a genderswapped version of the official vid. niq said she was thinking more of Holmes and Watson* but unless she wants to do it herself, which clearly not or she would not have inflicted it on me, it shall be my vision. Instead of Lady Gaga being drugged and put on display for a Russian mobster, it shall be Holmes being drugged and tossed around a boxing ring (somewhat out of order, I suppose) for the delectation of the winking Irene.

Around about 10:45pm I said to ysobel, "Oh, god, there's even footage of Holmes crawling around on the floor."

* Re: Holmes and Watson: I admit that their relationship is slashtastic as all get-out and dysfunctional to boot and as such could be called a bad romance, I mean, seriously, the fact that Holmes keeps trying to sabotage Watson's engagement indicates that either Watson doesn't realize the depth of Holmes's emotional attachment to him or that Holmes is seriously overstepping previously agreed-upon bounds. BE THAT AS IT MAY, neither of them is setting the other on fire. I win.

You can have it, though, I'm actually planning on a Holmes vid that doesn't involve horrifying meta.

(For reference, my vision was basically showing all the ways in which these people are all horrible for each other. And Holmes/Irene is one of the more horrible possible pairings, I'll grant!)
