Bonus!

I wrote Distant, a Petshop of Horrors story, for [livejournal.com profile] kessie. I enjoyed writing it ridiculously much, so much so I couldn't let it go after I posted it. So I put together an "unrated bonus disc" (you know unrated means porn, right? I call it the porn-and-cheesecake bonus disc). Features include: recipes, outtakes, deleted scenes, D's wardrobe, Leon's wardrobe, T-chan, Jill, writing meta, porn.

D in red
Distant: The Porn-and-Cheesecake Bonus Disc
Caterer and Totetsu: Cheesecake Recipe
Costuming
D's Wardrobe
Leon's Wardrobe
Beginnings and Endings: Writing Meta
Outtakes: The Original Intro
Fairy Tales as allegory
The Letter D
Deleted Porn
Acknowledgements
picture filler
Leon in Uruguay

If for some reason that menu doesn't work for you, the direct link to the bonus material is here: http://jmtorres.dreamhosters.com/fpsohbonus.html

That is AWESOME. ^____^ You put so much work into it! It's great. :)

*grins* Procrastination does tend to triple the amount of work necessary. Hee.

Hee! The bonus material is wonderful, especially Leon's shirts. The Sanfrancisco Treat one just about killed me. And I loved the story itself. The cookie scene was brilliant and I keep going back to reread it.

And now I have a whole new fandom to obsess over--I hadn't read the manga before I read your story, but I've read about half of it now. Thank you for the lovely introduction to the series. :)

*grins* When I started brainstorming t-shirts for Leon, I told [livejournal.com profile] keelieinblack one of them would be a "San Francisco Treat" tee. And then I started googling for the shirts I'd thought up, and found it, and showed it to her, and she said, "OMG, it actually EXISTS?" I said, "Isn't the internet wonderful?"

You're welcome! Oh, this is very yay. I hope you are inspired to write Petshop, because you're a great writer!

Thank you! And I hope you decide to make that PSoH flashfic comm you were talking about with the D prompts, because it sounded really cool. :)

I'm thinking I will, yes. Will you participate? And pimp it?

[identity profile] emungere.livejournal.com 2006-01-03 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep!

I have to run butremind me-- I've found a scanlator for New Petshop of Horrors.

[identity profile] jmtorres.livejournal.com 2006-01-05 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
*eyebrow* New Petshop of Horrors?

[identity profile] keelieinblack.livejournal.com 2006-01-06 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I feel I ought to respond to this. So, voila. Scanlations, with http downloads even.

Apparently Matsuri Akino just couldn't leave those two alone--though it's really just D so far. (Well, Leon shows up for tiny bit in one chapter, but that's been all, I think.)

[identity profile] jmtorres.livejournal.com 2006-01-06 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooooh.

Drat my being at work where I can't download and unzip. So Leon catches up with him, then? Or still chasing?

[identity profile] keelieinblack.livejournal.com 2006-01-06 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
(Aha, so we both slack off at work!)

Still chasing, and nearly finds him--they're in the same city at one point--but D hears word of it and skedaddles, which led to me rolling my eyes and thinking , "D, he is going stomp you into the ground when he finally catches up with you. You're just making it worse by prolonging it!"

[identity profile] jmtorres.livejournal.com 2006-01-07 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Heeeee. And then after the stomping, sex!

I LOVE YOU.

[identity profile] quick2anger.livejournal.com 2006-01-06 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
I do.

Yes-yes, I know it wasn't the most appropriate of introductions, but I can't help myself. I enjoyed the fic too much.

Excuse me, I feel another fit of fangirling coming. I'll be back later. *_*

Heee! Incredibly appropriate icon.

*grins* I'm glad you liked the fic!

I'm actually barely acquainted with this fandom at all (having never read any of the original material, sadly), but I loved your story to a somewhat alarming degree. I realize that this is a rather old post, but I was wondering if you might have the bonus material posted elsewhere, since the links to your site seem to be dead. Thanks! =)

Yeah, my site moved to dreamhost, go to http://jmtorres.dreamhosters.com/fpsohbonus.html
