Hetslash is kinda something else now. It's very fuzzily defined. It's sort of "het written by slashers" or "het that doesn't make heterosexist assumptions" or "het that does fun things you usually only associate with slash, like everything except vaginal intercourse."
Of course, there are some people who say all of the above is just "good het."
I fail to see how vaginal intercourse for the purpose (plotwise) of impregnation (and ending mpreg) is less heteronormative than intercourse for the sake of fun. One might even argue that it's more *g*
