The story I received is Carpe Diem, an Odyssey 5 Kurt/Neil. Yay! I love it to bits. They watch Fellowship of the Rings, and sharing strawberries and brie and wine with Neil is what makes the world wortwhile for Kurt. Other fic I have read and enjoyed so far:
Not Like Christmas, Exactly--Bend it Like Beckham, Jules/Jess. I love the details in this, especially the ongoing adjustments to living in the U.S.
Trousers, Blackadder. The Elizabethan series, whichever that one was. Blackadder's tights are far too tight. *snicker* Reads like an episode!
Twenty Random Facts About Steve and Susan, Coupling UK. A very amusing read.
Grown Men Do Things Together, Coupling UK. Oh, God. Steve and Jeff and porn. I am ded. The analogy in particular is. Oh, God. Hee.
Vacation, Dogma. God sends the Metatron on a vacation. To Wisconsin.
The Priest that Tastes the Word, Dogma, God/Metatron. God drags the Metatron around on Her vacation. This is adorable. God has a twisted sense of humor and the Metatron is very long-suffering. I love it!
The Running of the Deer, Douglas Adams--Hitchhiker's Guide. Set pre-trilogy, back when Ford was Arthur's bizarre and clueless friend.
Arthur and Ford's Excellent Misadventure, Douglas Adams--Hitchhiker's Guide. In which Arthur and Ford are nearly soup, and Wowbagger drops by.
Thirteen Steps to Understanding Something You Can't, Fight Club, Marla/Tyler. Marla Singer character study. Depressing, but very interesting.
Confidential, From Eroica With Love, Klaus/Dorian. Klaus's chief assigns him to seduce Dorian. *cracks up* Yeah.
Stranger Than, Galaxy Quest. I am amused by the little things in this story--hazard pay, and Guy's panic. Hee.
Foolproof, Lois McMaster Bujold--Vorkosigan books, Ivan/Byerly (sorta). Ivan wants to keep Byerly out of trouble. And will go to some lengths to do so.
The Deal, Ocean's 11, Danny/Tess, Danny/Rusty. Rusty won't hold still long enough for Danny to catch up.
The Story of D, Petshop of Horrors, Leon/D UST, post-manga. Leon is trying to find D, and animals are talking to him, and Papa D is being an ass, and D does not want to be found. But Leon does find him, and squee.
Follow, Petshop of Horrors, Leon/D, post-manga. Less introspection than the other post-manga one, more sex. Hermaphrodite D.
Not Set In Jelly, Red Dwarf. Denizens of the future have come to visit Our Lord Lister and Edward J. Rummer.
Easily as a Yawn, Robin McKinley--Damar books. A history of Corlath.
Proof, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, R/G. Very amusing, and nicely meta.
My Match, Scrubs. The history of J.D. and Turk's friendship. Very cute.
My Thing, Scrubs, Cox/Ben, Ben/J.D., Cox/J.D. Dr. Cox calls J.D. girlie names for a reason.
Apologetic Camel, Wonderfalls, Mahandra/Aaron. The talking animals helpfully beat Jaye over the head with why she's having such a hard time with Mahandra dating her brother. Very like an episode!
Actually, all the Wonderfalls fic that came up was tasty, but I think that one was my favorite.
