I saw you on my /network page - looking at your profile you've probably seen me around the disability/accessibility comms, or in Lanna or Staranise's journals.

So I know of you in that random internet way. ;)

ETA: Also, just realised I stuck my nose in your Danger Days vending machine post. Because I am nosy like that.

*facepalm* fair warning my experience of being fannish about the Killjoys does not seem to be much like anyone else's. Though yay anybody else wondering about those vending machines!

I don't know much about your experience, but you did bring up my pet peeve - dammit, stop referring to Party Poison as Gerard! I'm sort of treating it like I would a film - so Party Poison/Fun Ghoul = FPS, Gerard/Frank = RPS. And you can't mix and match the two because they're in different universes!

As long as you don't object to shipping of Dr Death Defying/Show Pony, all is good. ;)

Dr. D/Show Pony appears to be canon. *G* Not that I could actually tell you where I concluded that from; possibly the twitters. It's all a blur.

I'm trying to decide what my Danger Days name is. One joking suggestion was Cat Wrangler. I dunno, it lacks panache. There's a whole class of self-deprecation I've been informed I'm not allowed. Currently I'm contemplating Pixie (in the genre of Little John, which might also fall into that self-deprecating class I'm not allowed).

My "It's canon, dammit" comes from the start of Art Is The Weapon where Show Pony snatches up the gun that's hanging on the side of Dr. D's chair. Now... given it's pink it might be his rather than Dr D's (which was my first thought) but it's still the fact he took something hanging off Dr. D's chair and Dr. D didn't even blink.

That strikes me as one of those things you have to be *really* up close and personal to get away with, you know?

I've been trying to come up with a name, tried on a few and discarded, not really sure where to start. (Also trying to come up with other people's names is a bugger - I'm attempting to write some Dr. D/Show Pony fic and there are OCs need to be referenced, and... they need names, dammit! Which keeps taking me out while I stop and think.)

Okay, I think my favorite shot out of that sequence is Show Pony sitting on the edge of the desk. Personal space, what personal space?

Some of the non-main names seem really... wtf. niqaeli gave me hairy eyeball about following @TommyChowMein. Of course, she also cracked up at Fun Ghoul (she heard "fungal," and wants SOMEONE in our circle to go for Valley Fever.)

And some canonical ones (If you have band-created stuff as being canonical even if it doesn't show up in the "main stuff") don't have names - the boy who phones in to Dr D's Listening party calls himself Crash Kid Jim - we've heard Crash Queens being used as a general term, so I don't think that's personal to him, I think "Crash kids" is just a name for people out there in the Zones.

And oh yes. He's all over Dr. D's personal space. Which seems to me like a pretty telling sign.

Which means I'll probably keep flinging bits at DW so as not to have in my head.
