Okay, that takes care of the lingering resentment over the Always commercial I saw the other day. It had an Always pad as the saddle on a mechanical bull, which I didn't figure out till the 'have a happy period' bit at the end. Hi, on period, cramping, painkillers not working, do not make me slaughter you.

(Bad bit is thankfully over now. I hear hormonal contraception makes the bad bits less bad. I wonder if I could convince my doctor to prescribe it. I wonder if I could convince Mom that whether I'm on birth control is orthogonal to whether I'm having sex.)

As a lesbian I have always found gynos overly enthusiastic to prescribe hormonal contraception. It clears up zits, don'tcha know!

Never been to a gynecologist, though last time I saw the GP he was making noises about a Pap smear.

*shrugs* I'm twenty-one, I've never had sex, and getting a Pap smear doesn't sound all that comfortable. I'm not exactly seeing the urgency.

Wow. I find that picture completely unsexy. Not sure if it's because the guys do nothing for me, the arterial spray as noted above, the way Anna looks twisted uncomfortably or all three.
