This fic is epically bad. It's like they have no personalities, and they all talk too much (seriously? Neal's gonna trust someone that fast? and vice versa?), and uh, I'm still reading at this point mostly to watch Peter hit the roof when he meets Neal's new boyfriend, only I rather suspect he's going to be very long-windedly calm and understanding about it instead, because it's that kind of fic.

Oh man. The only thing worse than that is one where it reads better if you replaced all the main characters' names with GI Joe and Malibu Ken.

All of the character quirks that make them who they are are missing! Weirdly, the only one in character was Mozzie.

That's odd. It kinda reminds me of some of the people who wrote HL fic from watching only the Methos-centric episodes, so all the characters but Methos wound up being skewed somehow.

Now I'm picturing Mozzie as the new Methos. I would go for that, actually. *g* He's geek-cute, he's smart, he's articulate, and he's got an unusual viewpoint. Not too many sympathetic characters in mainstream TV have that "fight the power" vibe.
