I am strangely tempted to title the story of the dissolution of their marriage "Angels Don't Do Booty Calls."

That's a great title, and I hope you enjoy writing that story! I, er. Also will not be reading it unless it is black comedy, because if it is written straight it will make me sad because I hope they get a happy ending.

Castiel/Amelia: semihappy ending?

Well, that's happy for Amelia? My personal, wild "and I want a pony too!" hope is for Castiel to get a new vessel with someone who is willing to give it as a gift, not a loaner, and for Jimmy to go back to his life and Castiel to continue to hang out on Earth sometimes, despite the fact that that means Castiel no longer looks like Misha Collins SORRY FELLOW FANS.

But much as I love Castiel, I feel like Jimmy is the body's original owner, and once it is no longer needed for worldsaving, if it is not destroyed, he should really get it back. Preferably with a nice bow on top! Even if it means that Castiel can only talk to humans by dreamwalking.

I am not sure there is a way for Jimmy to walk away and have a normal life. I was honestly expecting his family to already be dead, the first time I watched his episode.

Mind you, I'm not convinced his life--and marriage--were idyllic before he fucked off with Castiel. I mean, he was downstairs asleep in a recliner in front of the TV the night Cas started courting him. I think he and Amelia were already on the rocks, for whatever reason. So you know. Wild pony land wishes, I guess the bow on top is for him to have a viable marriage to go back to.

Well, I don't think it would be easy or necessarily *normal*, but there might be a remote chance he gets his family back? Even if it would take a lot of work to make it anything like emotionally stable, and there's a high probability that his daughter would end up a hunter or mixed up with the occult.
