Being Human: Picspam edition
You guys. I love my silly show. And I will tell you why. THREESOME. That is why.
Being Human is a BBC series about a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire living together. The boys, Mitchell (vampire) and George (werewolf) meet cute in an alley when Mitchell stops other asshole vampires (this is sort redundant, all vampires are assholes) from beating up George because he's a werewolf. George is a new, scared, uninformed werewolf, by the way. Mitchell's roundabout a hundred and twenty, and you guys, he is interested in getting on the wagon and not eating people without dumb soul shenanigans. So they decide they're going to stick together and keep each other from killing people and eventually it just makes sense to get a house together, and if the estate agent thinks they're gay (PS SHE DOES, IT IS CANON), well, Mitchell is happy to tease George by agreeing and George is just a little bit JAZZ HANDS at the adorable little garden and the adorable little kitchen on the adorable little haunted house.
Did I mention the house was haunted? Shortly after moving in, Mitchell and George discover Annie, who died in the house and is now a ghost. George and Mitchell, re things that go bump and nail chickens to the wall: "What's scarier than one of us?" "A bigger one of us?" Annie, for her part, is just thrilled someone can see her. But so they live together and struggle to be normal together AND OMG ARE SO CUTE I HAVE NO WORDS. HERE, HAVE PICTURES:
(Helpful clues: Annie is the girl! Mitchell is the boy with longish hair! George is the boy with short hairand often geek glasses (but apparently only on TV and not in pictures)!)
If you have not seen the "in bed together" promo pic for s2, I don't know where you have been, but welcome to my corner of the internets. (I would only note that sadly this is probably not an indication of things that will actually happen. Remember when the X-files taunted us with that Rolling Stone shoot? But gosh it's pretty.)
But they do not get less intimate when they have clothes on. For serious, they are all over each other. It is adorable.
Here is another promo pic. (They make Annie glow a lot in promo pics. She does not glow in the series. But you have to know she is a ghost, see.) It is not at all suggestive. With the bed and whatnot.
And still all up in each other's space in what is otherwise hardly a scandalous photograph at all! The cuuuuuuuute.
I find it entertaining how many out of character pics there are that are similarly arm in arm. (Lenora Crichlow plays Annie. Aidan Turner plays Mitchell. Russell Tovey plays George. First special note: There is a pilot and a series, and the only actor these two have in common is Russell Tovey. I am showing you series Annie and Mitchell pics because I heart them so. Second special note: Russell Tovey is naked in every episode of the show. Most of the time is just before or after turning into a wolf, but occasionally there's just random conversations while Mitchell lounges fully clothed in the bathtub and George takes a birdbath in the sink.)
And they continue to be cute at con.

I love that the one with no facial hair is the one that gets hairy. He has this slightly sullen, what-am-i-gonna-do look in so many of the pics-- just like i would have if I'd suddenly become a werewolf-- and she is spectacular.
