Embroidery

So I'm taking this class whose lectures I abhor watching and I really, really need something to do with my hands. I used to embroider (and by 'I used to embroider' I mean I made a pillow with the Yellow Submarine on it for home ec class in like, 8th grade) and I'm considering giving embroidery another go so I have something to do in lecture.

But I need images to embroider. Something I can posterize and transfer in simple lines and fill in in solid color blocks, so preferably a drawn image over a full range photograph. I do want fannish imagery. Animated characters would work really well (see also yellow submarine) but if a live action image is simplifiable, I'd consider it. And hey, live action stuff might have decent logos or brands for in-show groups.

Thoughts and suggestions?

It may not be a current interest, but...a stylized Jhereg? Because that would be awesome to see on a pillow or something.

Yes, precisely. Like what Vlad is described as having on the back of his cloak in...Taltos, I think? Possibly Jhereg. One of the early books.
