I followed that thread when it started, and you just wrote the response that I would have written if I hadn't decided that it would be pointless to discuss Utena with people who missed something so unbelievably obvious in their selective and strangely literal interpretations of the series. The movie-as-sequel theory alone made me realize it was a hopeless cause.

Still, I wish you would post something there too, just to challenge the complacent idiocy of the supposed Utena experts there. But I'd understand if you didn't. After all, I didn't post anything either, just gagged and fumed in private. ^__^
