I do not know why anyone would be ashamed to have missed one or more of the Mission Impossible movies. They are CHEESE! Also I didn't actually watch the third one when it came out, because 2 left a bitter taste in my mouth. (I couldn't articulate it at the time, but my main problem with 2 was: if you can't trust that the lead is ACTUALLY the lead because of mask shenanigans, it makes it very hard to trust or like the film as a whole. I like the mask shenanigans much better when a) they are shown having to MAKE the masks as opposed to pulling them out of their hats over and over again, or b) the masks are actual masks on actors and not different actors playing one another's roles or c) THE MASK MACHINE BREAKS. It did in 4, I cheered. Ahem.)
