No idea what I was going to post about like an hour and a half ago when I decided I needed a Sanctuary icon, but yay Helen?

ETA: oh my god, I would do her, I would do her a lot. Like, I know I might have confused people by going "Vampire Nikola Tesla! Vampire Nikola Tesla!" for like a week straight (pun intended)? But um. Helen. Dommy Helen. Helen in pseudo-Victorian drag ala Irene Adler. Helen with guns. Helen with really big guns. It took until mid-s2 to really gel for me--that's about when character arc and not-a-hideous-wigness combined to get me in my happy place--but oh my god, Helen. Dr. Magnus. With her boyfriend on his knees. I might be into that. Ahem.

Pretty sure that wasn't what I was going to post about originally, but it bears stating.

ETA2: *turns on episode again* Oh, right! I was going to mock Will's skinny pale calves and give a shout-out for human/non-humanoid Abnormal sex. ILU show.

Okay, I'm sold. I'd been holding out because I just really don't like much TV enough to sacrifice reading time for it, but I think I need to watch this. What season/ep is it up to, and how do I find the early stuff? Is it up anywhere to watch easily?

It's mid-season 3 right now, just coming back from hiatus. Seasons one and two, which are both 13 episode seasons, are available on netflix. In the US it airs on Syfy.

I ship it like this: Helen/John/Nikola

Helen likes being in control, but part of that is that sometimes she needs to be left alone, so a threesome makes sense, and having two lovers means that she can instruct them!

Nikola is on the very bottom because I always get this impression that he wants to provoke Helen and John into pouncing him.

Then there is this:
Helen: I like the whipping Tesla idea.

John is in the middle, it strikes me that he likes pleasing people, which works as a sub for Helen and a dom for Nikola, as that is respectively what they both like.

Nikola might dom occasionally, but I think he like being the sub who gets attention. Since he's so frequently a jerk though, it wouldn't surprise me if there were nights where John and Helen leaves him tied up on the bed right next to them and ignores him, haha!
