--oh, dear lord, am I an odd person to ask about vidding factions and culture clashes. Just so you know, when I write up the entry in which I answer the comments here, I might be, um, strident? I am not trying to be mean, I am just opinionated, and the factionalization of vidding fandom hacks me off.
