Ooo! One thing that I've been meaning to ask is when you have an awesome idea for a song/subject pairing, where all do you check to make sure it hasn't already been done to death?

Also, I showed a friend of mine who dabbles in vidding a vid posted on LJ, and she was baffled that that person hadn't also copied it to YouTube. I couldn't really explain it to her, other than some vague mumbles about LJ culture. Can you talk a little about the different vid communities that exist and/or that you might belong to, and what the general feeling is as to where people post? I suppose that ties in a lot with question 1, doesn't it?
