As I was saying, I should not be so intimately familiar with your admittedly shiny "select which tabs to restore" window a mere twenty-four hours after caving and running update. And subsequent supposed stabilizing update which has not so much stabilized jack shit.

What the fuck. I know I carry too many tabs, but previous versions of your fucking software fucking handled it. I have restarted firefox more in the last day than in the last six months, probably. This is not an exaggeration: to say I restart my computer (which is about how often I restart firefox ordinarily) once a month would be a generous estimate. Seriously, last version of firefox handled it.

If I get beach ball of death one more time so help me deity, I'm transferring everything over to safari.

The IT person at my work has said multiple times that the latest version of Firefox kinda sucks loads. I've noticed my browser has frozen everything so badly I had to force quit at least twice since I updated (having heard this from him only *after* I updated at home. Whoops), and I know I don't have that many tabs open.

Have you tried Opera? This was the reason I switched over, years ago.

Are you having issues with 3.6.2 or 3.6.3. If it's 3.6.3, maybe you should skip up to 3.7?

I hit 3.5.9, 3.6.2 and 3.6.3 in the last day or so. I don't see anything higher available?

3.7 is in alpha. I can't find it on the site, but if you google firefox 3.7 and your OS, you should find it.

I'm not doing much work in it yet--I mostly just use Firefox to go into AO3, DeviantArt, or Stonyfield Rewards program, things I can't do well in my trusty AOL browser--but so far it's been just fine for me.
