It's been a while since I last muscled through Revelations, but as far as I remember the apocalypse is more supposed to be about humanity earning the biggest spanking ever before getting grounded for eternity all are forgiven and allowed to reside in Heaven on Earth, singing the praises of God and not having to actually do anything ever again. Which is why all the seals would be evil acts, because if humanity's gone so far downhill that it can turn the crank 66 times to free Luce-in-the-box, it deserves what's coming to it.
Or so says whoever made those (incredibly shoddy) seals in the first place. Michael, giving his brother a loophole in case he was right? The unknown other angels Uriel didn't kill (DEAR SHOW, YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO EXPLORE THIS IDEA)? God himself, continuing a long-standing tradition of dickish behavior? So many choices!
